Gaane Mor by Sandhya Mukhopadhyay is a song that I hold very close to my heart. This is my humble tribute to one of the biggest legends in the history of Bangla music. My father used to play her cassetts in our car all the time when I was little, and I became a fan since. I picked up and could sing all her songs that played in our car when I was around six or seven. It was such a good feeling to watch her sing even decades later, to know that she was still throwing concerts with such finesse at an age where we would naturally expect one's body to give up.
