Adding Factory Cruise Control ‘97-‘01 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Working on a ‘01 Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ adding factory cruise control. The process is relatively the same for all ‘97-‘01 Jeep Cherokee XJs. The only exception is when swapping onto a ‘97-‘98 XJ you’ll need controls from a ‘97-‘98 XJ. Same with the ‘99-‘01 XJ... you’ll need controls from a ‘99-‘01 XJ. I outline the difference between the controls in the video @ 0:24. Parts needed for the swap are the factory steering wheel cruise controls, clock spring w/ 3 wires (airbag, horn & cruise) & cruise control module/cable w/ vacuum line. This is a relatively simple swap using standard hand tools. The only specialty tool you’ll need is a steering wheel puller. NOTE: The 3 bolts that mount the cruise control module to the inside of you passenger fender are 8mm, not 9mm as I stated in the video @ 1:55 & 4:18
