IT WAS ALWAYS YOU | My Heart Knew Before I Did

Sometimes the love you spend years searching for is the person your heart has been choosing all along. IT WAS ALWAYS YOU is a cinematic soul-pop love song about recognition: looking back at every wrong turn, every almost-love, and finally understanding why one person always felt like home. I called it friendship. I called it comfort. I called it timing, nothing more. But the heart often knows first — before the words, before the courage, before we are ready to admit what we have been feeling all along. This song is for anyone who searched for love everywhere… only to realize it had quietly been standing beside them all along. “Maybe love isn't always found. Maybe sometimes… it is recognized.” Have you ever realized that the person you were searching for had been there all along? 🎵 Song: IT WAS ALWAYS YOU 🎤 Artist: Awenthos ✍️ Lyrics and Concept: Awenthos, with creative assistance from AI 🎼 Music Production: Generated with artificial intelligence tools under the creative direction of Awenthos 🎬 Video and Design: Awenthos, with AI assistance © 2026 Awenthos.
