with 2026 almost ending the time has finally come for 75014"Braveheart" as 2026 marks 10 years since being in service originally 2025 was going to be her last, but a ticket extension brings for another year. Built in December 1951 at the Swindon Works.•the locomotive was Purchased as a wreck in 1981 by a four-man syndicate, restored to steam in 1994 at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and later named "Braveheart" while working the "Jacobite" tourist service in the Scottish Highlands. • Current Owner & Base: Sold in 2002 to the Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company, where it serves as a resident mainline-capable engine. Being one of the Dartmouth steam railway's flagship locomotives, it is a sad time for them as a railway.the locomotive is also one that the railway is very much known for.
