Moonlight Muse (2023) was commissioned by the Youth Performing Arts School, conducted by Dr. Kevin Callihan. For millennia, new parents have abruptly changed their lives in order to nurture a newborn child. Through a delicate song of newfound joy and purpose, parents' love and dedication to their children, especially during those moonlit hours, are celebrated in my composition.
