There is a direct train from Paris MontParnasse to Pontorson (which was around 4 hr journey) & then there was connecting bus (shuttle) ride of around 30 mins from pontorson to Mont-Saint-Michel. We visited there in summer & our train fare covered the shuttle as well.. Also the bus/shuttle service runs just outside of the Pontorson train station.
