Are we gonna surf the web? I love comic accurate designs. I think movies and tv are 100x better when they actually look like the characters. But I also think fans can sometimes forget that these original designs were created by artists trying things that hadn’t been done before. And sometimes it's refreshing to see a completely different take on a beloved character. Sometimes these designs really work and sometimes they don’t. But I think it’s always worth experimenting with character design.
