In this video, we will learn all about Prepositional Phrase. What is an Prepositional Phrase? An Prepositional Phrase is made of two words. Prepositional + Phrase. And it acts as an Adverb, Adjective or Noun in the sentence. The structure of Prepositions is like this: Preposition + Modifiers + Object. The three ways in which a prepositional phrase is used. 1. Prepositional Phrase as an Adverb 2. Prepositional Phrase as an Adjective 3. Prepositional Phrase as a Noun Prepositional phrases provide additional information about a noun or pronoun in a sentence, typically by describing its location, direction, time, manner, or reason. Exercise: The cat is on the roof. She went to the store to buy some milk. After the storm, we went outside to see the damage. Answers: 1. 'on the roof' - As an Adverb Phrase. 2.
