Peak Rail - Blazing Saddles steam gala (2013)

With thanks once again to S&G Productions, we have another video made by Peak Rail Volunteer Stuart Graves. In March 2013, Peak Rail held an event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Hunslet Austerity locomotive. No fewer than 5 steam locomotives were in steam each day of the weekend. An early morning freight train was followed by top and tailed passengers trains throughout both days prior to the last train where 8 coaches were put together and all 5 engines attached. Locomotives featured include Peak Rail's own WD150 'Royal Pioneer' WD 132 'Sapper' 3806 'Wilbert' 3883 'Lord Phil' 71515 'Mech Navies' To help with the restoration and upkeep of Royal Pioneer, the Peak Railway Association are having a fund raiser.
