10 Years of my Hotpoint 9530 Electronic 1000 Plus!

We are here to celebrate 10 whole years...an entire DECADE of owning my first ever collection piece - the Hotpoint 9530A Electronic 1000 Plus from April 1986, or as you guys know her better as "Barbara". Here I explain my journey with this machine since September 2016, up until now - September 2026. It's been a crazy adventure so far, but one I wouldn't trade for the world. Barbara has been through more than any of my machines could say and has always been nurtured back to health, to continue her life of thorough washing, fast cycles and unpredictable, violent spin cycles! But despite Barbara being a true quality of British engineering...she couldn't have survived without a lot of you guys, mainly Kole Grunt (‪@the_vintage_boy3453‬ and ‪@TherealCentral1‬ for looking after and/or supplying parts to keep her cosmetically originally as possible. All she now needs is a 9320A to work with her. Thank you to everyone and indeed, a personal thank you to Hotpoint, who may no longer be what they once were...but the Hotpoint that made this machine and my WD64? I will forever be grateful for. May we return at 20 years in 2036 with the next celebration for Barbara!
