In this vlog, I travel onboard Pakistan Railways' famous Jaffar Express from Quetta to Sukkur, covering the journey in exactly 12 hours. Jaffar Express operates between Quetta and Peshawar and holds a unique distinction: it is the only train that travels across all four provinces of Pakistan! Travelling on this route is not without security concerns, given the history of terrorist attacks targeting Jaffar Express. One of the most unusual and tense aspects of my journey was witnessing two armoured security vehicles shadowing our train all the way until Jacobabad. In addition, armed security personnel were travelling onboard to ensure passengers' safety. I travelled in AC Standard Class, purchasing my ticket for just PKR 2,985. Despite the security concerns, there were some pleasant aspects of the journey. The overall condition of both AC Standard and Economy Class coaches was acceptable. It was encouraging to see housekeeping staff regularly cleaning the coaches. Food vendors also kept coming through the train, offering a variety of meals, drinks and snacks to passengers.
