Modelling The Coronavirus With Hannah Fry

Spencer talks to the Maths superstar about how maths has helped to model the Coronavirus pandemic. In 2018, Hannah was involved with a BBC programme which used volunteers' smartphones to help track how people moved around the country. This was then used to show how a flu pandemic might spread, and how handwashing would slow that spread and flatten the curve.
