How to Launch and Filter Reports Using a Form in MS Access

In this episode, we’ll cover one of the most useful tasks in MS Access: How to launch a report, and filter it, from a button on a form, using parameter entries from user selections on the form. This skill is one of the core basics for anyone wanting to automate their reports, or reports for others. We’ll create a form, some combo boxes for drop down lists, a command button, as well as a report with some customized filtering actions. This technique can be used for free form text box parameters, dates, drop-down lists, checkboxes, and other types. After watching this video, you will want to experiment with your reports.
