Who was Melchizedek — and why does the Bible describe him as a man with no father, no mother, no birth, and no death? In Genesis 14, he appears in three verses, blesses Abraham, receives a tithe, and vanishes. No genealogy. No explanation. Just a king and a priest standing in the dust of a valley, carrying bread and wine.
This is not a footnote. This is one of the most carefully constructed prophetic clues in all of Scripture.
In this study, we trace Melchizedek from Genesis 14 through Psalm 110 all the way into Hebrews 7 — uncovering the Hebrew meaning of his name, why Abraham's tithe was theologically explosive, why the Levitical priesthood was always pointing beyond itself, and what it means that Jesus is a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
By the time we finish, you will never read this passage the same way again.
Watch to the end. The sharpest insight lands late.
