Equipment:
Weapon: Timeless Rod
Weapon Passives: Fire Damage Up, Ice Damage Up, Debuff Extension, Ward Shift Mastery
Weapon Materia: Elemental + Ice, Swiftcast + Ice, Magnify + Fire and Ice
Summon: Phoenix
Armor: Cetran Bracer
Armor Materia: Time + Magic Focus, ATB Boost, Subversion, Magic Up, ATB Stagger, Skill Master, First Strike
Accessory: Chocoking’s Cape (start the battle with one ATB bar already filled)
Rounds:
0:00 — Round I (Security Officers and Slug-Rays)
Cast a magnified Blizzaga to immediately end the round.
0:14 — Round II (Yin & Yang)
Cast Stop immediately, then use ATB Boost and set up both Radiant and Arcane Wards. Fire off a fully charged Tempest, then a round of basic attacks. Use an uncharged Tempest and another volley of basic attacks.
From here, cast Firaga. This should stagger it and put it on the brink of death, at which point you can use Soul Drain to finish it off.
1:07 — Round III (White Mousses)
Defend yourself with a Lustrous Shield, then use ATB Boost and set up Arcane Ward. Use a volley of basic attacks to gain ATB, then fire off a magnified Firaga. Use Soul Drain on the White Mousse you didn’t target to finish it off, as it will survive otherwise.
1:38 — Round IV (Hecteyes)
Cast Breach as soon as possible to dispel its Reflect status, then use ATB Boost and set up Radiant Ward. Wait for it to disappear into the floor; once it comes back up, use one Blizzara to stagger it and a second Blizzara to finish it off.
2:00 — Round V (Quetzalcoatl)
Set up Transcendance, then activate ATB Boost and set up Arcane and Radiant Ward. Dodge the Fulmen attacks it uses, attacking when able to build ATB, and once it pounces, cast Blizzara just before it hits you. Radiant Ward will make you immune to the attack, allowing you to pressure it.
Immediately fire off a volley of basic attacks before casting Blizzara again, this time to stagger it. Use a basic attack combo, then a fully charged Tempest, and finally cast Stop.
Use Tempest once more, then cast Blizzara for damage. Now fire off one last round of basic attacks, and finish with a now fully charged Transcendance II and a final Blizzara.
3:07 — Victory
What does each ability do?
Tempest: Activated by holding down the attack button, and can be charged over a short period of time. Does solid damage and summons Aerith’s Fleeting Familiar, which does a small amount of damage every time she uses an offensive ability or spell.
Arcane Ward: A ward which, when someone is in range, allows their offensive spells to be cast twice, albeit at a slight reduction in damage. Effectively doubles magic damage output.
Radiant Ward: A ward which, when someone is in range, grants them invincibility while casting magic. Also enhances Aerith’s dodges and basic attacks.
Soul Drain: An attack which deals moderate damage and transfers MP from the target to Aerith.
Lustrous Shield: A small barrier which enemies cannot pass through. It also blocks ranged attacks and projectiles.
Transcendance: When used, begins to charge. While in effect, magic attack is boosted, but magic defense is lowered. After charging for a while, it can be used a second time to deal massive magic damage.
