I started Dream Club promising myself I’d be willing to fail publicly. But somewhere along the way, I became terrified of looking like a beginner. One piece of criticism made me raise my standards so high that I stopped creating altogether. Today, I’m confronting the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, trying to make your dream extraordinary can stop you from pursuing it at all. I’m Pallavi. I’ve given myself one year to build India’s #1 podcast and reach one million followers. I’m starting from scratch—and I’m letting you see the whole ride. The calls I’m scared to make. The guests I’m brave enough to invite. The episodes that work, the ones that don’t, and what I change the next day. I’ve spent too long keeping the biggest version of myself quiet. Dream Club is where she finally gets a microphone. Right now, my plan is to show up for 365 days. The format may change as I learn. The ambition won’t. And I don’t want to do this alone. If there’s a dream you’ve barely dared to say out loud, bring it with you. Take your shot while I take mine. We’ll meet the people, face the awkward bits, celebrate the tiny wins, and find out how far we can go. The ride has started. Grab a seat. Your turn: Have you ever made your standards so high that you stopped yourself from starting? Tell me in the comments. #DreamClub #ChasingDreams #FearOfFailure #Perfectionism #StartingOver
