Mini Cooper 1.6L No compression Cyl 1, Low everywhere else. Diagnose and Troubleshoot.

This is on a 2016 Countryman with 1.6L Turbo. I bought the car non-running and barely made a sound when turning the starter. I'm glad I kept looking into this as I saved myself $400 from the machine shop. The head was checked with straight edge and feeler gauge and was within tolerance.
