This week's piece is quite brief. I went for a walk in my local forest with my camera and tried a few of my new lenses. I managed to take two photographs: one affected by light filtering through the forest canopy, and the other a beautiful panorama of a beech tree. I'm also providing an update regarding my camera equipment since I've recently switched to the Nikon Z8 after the D850 suffered a failure of its circuit board. I explain my experience using Nikon Z lenses as compared to those that have been adapted from the F-mount and state that I generally prefer the native Z lenses whenever I can. I also review a third-party 20mm lens; even though the reviews are mixed, I feel that it offers good detail for the price. When I compare the 24-200mm zoom with ones that have faster apertures, I notice that although it doesn't have a constant aperture, it makes up for this by providing greater versatility and a more affordable price. I'd like to know your thoughts on this, as real feedback and opinions from the photography community help me to improve and develop as a photographer.
