Lloyd Ishimini Tribute

Welcome to the PNW Surf Channel This episode features Lloyd ishimini. He was a friend of mine in Maui. We weren't real close but we were surfing buddies. I thought he was the best surfer on Maui at the time. This is old footage from 1983 -1987. It's super 8 and old VHS footage so it's a little shakey and not very sharp. The surfing however is outstanding. Lloyd was an incredible surfer. He was surfing giant surf well before Laird Hamilton started tow surfing Jaws. In the first scenes Lloyd is surfing switch stance.
