Opening Convocation 2026 - Valparaiso University

Celebrate the start of a new academic year at Valparaiso University’s Opening Convocation, held on Tuesday, August 25, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Resurrection. Join the campus community as we welcome our newest students, faculty, and staff while also honoring the achievements of our colleagues. Following the ceremony, continue the celebration with a campuswide BBQ on the Harre Union West Lawn. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
