I’ll Still Choose You

“I’ll Still Choose You” is a song I wrote for my wife about something I’ve come to appreciate more with every passing year: love isn’t only something we feel—it’s also something we choose. Life changes us. The years bring good times, difficult seasons, unexpected turns, laughter, heartache, victories and struggles. We aren’t the same two people we were when our story began, and I don’t think we’re supposed to be. But through all those years and all those changes, there is something powerful about looking at the person beside you and knowing that, given the choice all over again, you would still choose them. That’s what this song means to me. After everything we’ve experienced, everywhere life has taken us, and all the years that have passed—I’ll still choose you.
