Come Build A Light Show With Me

Have you ever wanted to see full raw footage of a Christmas light display being set up? Well now you can! Recently I began setting up some elements of my Christmas light show, specifically DMX moving heads and controllers, and I decided to record the entire thing with a GoPro. Now, you can see every single step involved when I set up specific elements of my light display, and you can also see all the odd/funny things that I'd normally cut out! If you like these types of videos, please let me know in the comments! I'd love to do this again for other elements of my light display! (Feel free to watch the video at 2x speed since it's really long lol) Timestamps: 0:00:00 - Intro 0:01:11 - Getting the parts on the roof 0:13:38 - Setting up moving head platforms/housing 0:53:12 - Securing the moving heads 1:02:27 - Running/connecting cables 1:33:23 - Testing power/the moving heads 1:46:35 - Setting up a controller 2:00:37 - Testing dmx cables 2:04:42 - Putting domes on the platforms 2:28:33 - Taping connectors 2:34:49 - Setting up arches 2:44:32 - Wow, controlling lights is awesome 2:46:11 - Finishing up ===================================================================== Need some premade xLights sequences for your light show?
