STALKER 2 - The Professor in Lab X18 Was Hiding Something

Part 23 — Before pushing on with the main story, I went back to Slag Heap and found Diode alive — I was sure Ward had taken him. He sent me into Lab X18 for his side quest "Unfinished Business," and that place was genuinely one of the creepiest in the game: strange sounds, my flashlight cutting out, and a psi Emitter that had turned bandits, scientists and stalkers into zombies. Deep inside I met Prof. Mikheyev, who told me how to shut the device down — but a PDA I found on one of the zombies told a very different story about what he'd been doing to people down there. I had to choose who gets the Emitter, and I made my call.
