Serpentine tensioner replacement GMC Acadia 3.6 L V6

if you're having issues squeaky sound coming from your serpentine belt area you may need to replace your tensioner and serpentine belt. I warned you this may be a difficult task because the area to remove the tensioner is in a tight space. this job can be done underneath the vehicle without moving the tire trim or on top of the vehicle with removing the entire fuse box and a motor mount. I recommend a skinny long wrench or short 13 mm socket with elbow swivel head may be useful. to help loosen the serpentine belt you will need a thin half inch socket or tool to move the tensioner to loosen the serpentine belt. there are three bolts holding the tensioner in place measure at 13 mm each.
