15th Anniversary of WATCHES TV and...

In this special edition I take a moment to look back at how it all started — when we were the first on YouTube covering watches and watchmaking, when print was still king, when brands kept a tight grip on who could speak on camera, and when more than a few people told me I was an utter fool for launching this. Being MAD, I took it as a compliment. The idea was always edutainment: spend a good moment watching, and learn something along the way. Fifteen years later, that hasn't changed — and neither has the enthusiasm of this community, which is genuinely what keeps me going. I also explain why there have been fewer videos lately. Alongside the channel I've been building the Horopedia Foundation — a watchmaking encyclopedia, now in 6 languages, and the MACH, a house of watchmaking art and culture opening in Geneva in 2027.
