The seventh pitch of Beacon Rock's South East corner is a cruiser ridge climb up to the tree line. It is plenty well protected, yet many climbers run it out rather significantly between bomber gear placements. The pitch certainly rewards you for the efforts to make it that far. Panoramic views of the Columbia River Gorge, varied crack sizes from fingers to hands to fists, slab, face climbing, and cruiser movement makes it a pitch worth soaking in.
Beacon Rock's Southeast Corner is one of the classic multipitch climbs of the Columbia River Gorge. 7 pitches and 700 feet of climbing give you spectacular views of the Columbia River, with moments of incredible exposure. As one of the earliest routes on Beacon Rock, it is common to find old pitons, and other artifacts from years long past, left generations ago by some of the earliest technical climbers.
