Beyond The Hearing Loop

Beyond the Hearing Loop: Exploring the Future of Accessible Audio How can we make live events, lectures and shared spaces more accessible to people with hearing loss? Beyond the Hearing Loop explores how new technologies, including Auracast™ broadcast audio, could complement traditional hearing loops and open up new possibilities for inclusive listening. The video looks at what this emerging technology could mean for accessibility, the experiences of people who benefit from assistive listening systems, and why accessibility needs to be considered from the outset when introducing new technology. At The University of Manchester, we want to create environments where everyone can participate, connect and engage. Accessibility is not an add-on. It’s part of creating inclusive experiences for everyone.
