How to Beat the Scoria on Insane (Solo) | Gears of War: E-Day

Two Scoria at once, solo, on Insane - it took me 113 deaths to beat them in Gears of War: E-Day. This is exactly how I finally did it. Yesterday the Scoria killed me 32 times. Today I came back with a plan, a YouTube strat and every bit of advice chat could throw at me - half health, stand still, the Gut Punch, the Talk Bow - and 81 more deaths. With 40 minutes left before I had to stop, I went back to the plan I started with. The winning run is in the video in full, start to finish. What worked for me on Insane (it's all in the final run from 10:57): 1. Longshot while it's flying, then straight back into cover. 2. Keep moving. Stand still and it will laser you - I tested that. 3. When it lands, swap to the Ripper and empty everything into it. 4. Watch your ammo. On Insane, ammo is the real boss. 0:00 113 deaths on the Scoria 0:42 Lock In - the plan 2:25 Did anyone test this on Insane? 3:32 Pure pain 6:28 Chat has a plan (five of them) 8:57 40 minutes left 10:57 The run that beat it - full strategy 15:24 The kill Stuck on the Scoria?
