FOBBV 💕 SHADOW & KAYDEE EVENING RENDEZVOUS ON NEST! BODY BUMPING COURTSHIP BEGINS! 💕 9.21.26

Tonight Kaydee flew in via the front porch and does a perfect landing on the nest! She looked & waited for Shadow to join her for about twenty minutes - not really doing any nest work before flying out. But Shadow was not far away and he lands on the nest. Kaydee is immediately behind him and excited to have Shadow on the nest with her! Tonight we see something in their behavior that advances their courtship forward. There are certain courtship behaviors that eagle couples all have in common with one another - beaky kisses, pulling their feathers and body bumping. Tonight body bumping was on point! This is a form of bonding and showing affection towards one another. In fact, Jackie & Shadow used to do these very same behaviors with one another when nestorations were in full swing. We have seen Kaydee pulling Shadow's feathers already and wanting to shower him in beaky kisses.They both did not mind being close tonight and body bumping one another - it is really sweet to watch them together. Shadow departs the tree first, Kaydee follows and they both are sleeping in the Roost Tree together again. As the seasons are changing, so are Shadow & Kaydee's feelings for one another. Looks like love may be in the air for them in the coming weeks! Each day they spend together brings them closer to becoming a bonded couple. Thank you for watching!
