After finally getting my motorcycle back, I was able to join the group ride to Perak once again. We started early in the morning, meeting up before heading north. But before the ride began, we made a stop for a traditional old-school breakfast. After breakfast, we continued our ride to Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge No. 5 (TT5) — one of Malaysia's last surviving tin dredges and a reminder of Perak's rich tin mining history. Built in 1938, TT5 operated for decades before being retired. Today, this massive industrial machine remains as a piece of Malaysia's forgotten industrial heritage. Join me as I walk through TT5, explore its massive machinery, corridors and working areas, and take a closer look at a piece of Perak's past. I'm not filming a journey.
