1980s QuickShot MSX Joystick by Spectravideo: Deconstruction

The QuickShot brand by Spectravideo produced some of the most iconic, multi-system retro controllers of the 1980s, offering deep compatibility with the MSX computer architecture. Unlike standard Atari-compatible joysticks that only natively mapped one fire button, true MSX gameplay requires a controller that can support two separate, independent fire buttons. Today, we tear down a Quickshot joystick that was made in Hong Kong in the 1980s.
