Aylesbury Way, Buckinghamshire

We had a convenient start for our relaxing walk right next to our Premier Inn accommodation in Aylesbury. After quite an active break visiting Michael's brother and family, we followed a section of the Round Aylesbury Way which is part of a 12 mile circular route. The Aylesbury Ramblers have details on their website (link below "Round Aylesbury Walk"). Although the terrain is quite flat, we still found out some historical information. Even though not actually seen the open fields nearby held ghosts from the past of a deserted village and medieval civic battlefield and having taken place.
