Mr Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan

Written in 1964, there are quite a few stories about exactly what inspired Mr Tambourine Man, from New Orleans Mardi Gras to a religious experience to a guy with a giant tambourine that he tended to bring to recording sessions. Definitely not about drugs (he said). The Byrds recorded one of 4 verses and that recording hit number one. Although Dylan said he liked their very different style, very “electric guitar-y”, I imagine he really liked the huge composer royalty. Anyway, all 4 verses and 5 choruses right here, right now.
