"Midnight Confessions" Lesson (The Grass Roots)

A lesson on the 1968 classic Grass Roots song Midnight Confessions. The record-key version was in F# Major, which sounds awesome -- but is also hard to play and sing, particularly on acoustic guitar if you lack the big band sound with horns, bass guitar, etc. So I worked up an acoustic version in D Major, which you can see in the latter half of the video. 0:00 Intro Comments 1:22 F# Major Version Overview 3:00 Chord Breakdown in F# Major 5:01 Play Again in F# Major 6:31 Acoustic Version in D Major 11:14 R&B style chords in D Major 12:30 Final Thoughts on a Great Song!!!
