(Stay tuned for my Chaser Tourer V and a few laps around green hell plus my tuning sheet... coming soon.) Update 1.71 gave us 2 of the 3 versions built on the same platform known as the Toyota Chaser and the Mark ll. There's something about the 4 door cars of the nineties that catches my eye. This car loves to go sideways but don't take my word for it, go see SLAPTrain on YT drift this thing. The Chaser and the Mark II were part of a three-car lineup that also included the Toyota Cresta. Toyota used this approach to offer the same mechanical package with different styling and market positioning. The Mark II leaned toward a more refined image, the Chaser adopted a sportier personality, and the Cresta was the luxury customers dream, it featured every available option in Toyota's arsenal. Because they share so many components, parts can often be swapped between them which makes restoration and modification much easier. The Cresta also came with a diesel engine option. This Toyota Chaser/Mark ll Tourer V and often referred to as the 4 door Supra was produced for 6 generations, from 1977 to 2001. The JZX100 (1996–2001) Tourer V models are the most sought-after versions. It's powered by the legendary 1JZ-GTE. The 1JZ-GTE is a 2.5L inline-six twin-turbocharged engine that became an icon in JDM cars. The VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing - intelligent) system added in 1996 gave the engine better low-end torque, fuel efficiency, and throttle response compared to its predecessor. The 1JZ-GTE is renowned for its bulletproof internals and huge tuning potential, capable of handling 400-500+ horsepower with basic bolt-ons like an aftermarket turbo, ECU tuning, and upgraded fueling. (The 2JZ GTE = G.O.A.T) The music I use in this video and this channel is my choice. It does not represent any companies or people in my videos. My playlists are so bipolar. We are either in love, hate each other, or we're gang members. My YouTube channel is a not-for-profit channel. The videos I make are to enjoyably inspire or enhance your appreciation for music, outdoors, motorcycles, video games, and anything and everything I feature on this channel. This is a hobby, not a business. (Please Support The Musicians) Music in this video... 1) Massive Attack - Angel 2) Young The Giant - It's About Time
