Denis (76) who lives in Rothes, has been supported by Moray Council's Care at Home Service for the past 14 years but we face real challenges in recruiting Social Care Assistants in some of the more rural parts of Moray like Speyside. Could you help us support more people just like Denis in our communities? You don’t need any formal qualifications to work in home care - just a caring and resilient personality and a desire to help people. You’ll receive a paid induction and on the job training, gaining valuable experience to help you progress your social care career. 💠Social Care Assistants work 6.5 hour shifts per day. Shift working hours are 7am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 10.30pm. 💠Hourly rate starts at £11.55, plus enhanced rate from £15.40 an hour after 8pm Monday to Friday and weekend. Benefits including Local Government Pension Scheme 💠Contracts on offer - 6.5, 13 hours per week, 19.5 hours per week, 26 hours per week & 32.5 hours per week.
