Black-throated Green Warbler, Pine Warbler, American Redstart, Vireos & Tanagers at the Bird Pond

We had a few more fall migrating birds arrive this week. We got a nice long look at a beautiful Black-throated Green Warbler, plus a Pine Warbler, and a female or juvenile "Yellowstart" American Redstart. We seem to have more Vireos than usual, so I think some of these are migrants passing through on their way south. The Tanagers are still around and active, as are our resident Titmice, Chickadees, Chipping Sparrows, and Cardinals. When I built this latest version of the bird pond, I made it with a long stream with multiple bathing areas, to allow more room for the birds to spread out. This has been great for the birds, but it makes it more difficult to get enough camera coverage to capture all the activity. I ran three GoPro cameras at once this week, and I think I got most of the areas covered. There's still one spot with a couple small pools at the far end of the stream that's out of sight of the cameras, but I'll let that remain a special secluded spot for the birds. Thanks for watching!
