EP 101: THUMBS DOWN

The Mugs are back, and unfortunately for Tampa Bay Bucs fans, things have gone from bad to “maybe we should just start drinking now.” The Bucs are 0-3, and we break down the collapse, what’s gone wrong, and the question that refuses to go away: When is Todd Bowles getting fired? We also talk about Baker Mayfield’s injury and what it could mean for the Bucs moving forward. Is there still a way to save the season, or are we already planning next year’s draft? Thankfully, the Tampa Bay Rays are giving us something to smile about. We break down the MLB Wild Card picture, look at the possible playoff matchups, and discuss who the Rays could—and should—face in October. And just when we need another reason to get excited, the Tampa Bay Lightning season starts Thursday! We preview the upcoming season and get ready for another year of Bolts hockey. Bucs misery, Todd Bowles’ job security, Baker’s injury, Rays playoff baseball, Wild Card matchups, and Lightning hockey are all on the menu for Episode 101 of 3 Ugly Mugs! At least one Tampa Bay team is giving us hope. For now. #3UglyMugs #SportsPodcast #ComedyPodcast #TampaBayBucs #GoBucs #Bucs #NFL #NFL2026 #ToddBowles #BakerMayfield #TampaBayRays #RaysUp #MLB #MLBPlayoffs #WildCard #ALEast #TampaBayLightning #GoBolts #NHL #TampaBaySports #TampaSports #SportsTalk #SportsComedy #Baseball #Football #Hockey #Podcast #SportsPodcast #TampaBay
