Confusion on the Glasgow to Oban Train

I'd decided to return to Oban by train and got myself a ticket from the ticket office at Glasgow Queen Street station for the 08:22. But 10 minutes later "Cancelled" came up on the departures board. I wasn't the only one to head back to the ticket office to find out what was going on. Thankfully it all turned out OK but not without a bit of confusion for all of us heading to Oban that day. And it was a pretty full train with most people heading for Fort William. The train splits at Crianlarich with 4 carriages going to Fort William and 2 going to Oban - well that's what usually happens, it don't on this trip.
