Welcome to The Engineering Guide!
This is part 1 of the converging - diverging nozzle series where the various flow regimes and flow events that are expected to occur in the converging - diverging nozzle will be studied using ANSYS Fluent. In part 1, we will take a look at the sub-sonic flow conditions, the condition where the pressure at the exit of the nozzle is too high, therefore the velocity decreases as it progresses through the diverging part of the nozzle. In this video, we will see the results that are expected to be obtained, we will go through some calculation in order to determine what exit pressure will give sub-sonic flow conditions and then we will move into ANSYS Fluent to make this analysis.
Thank you for watching! Hope you enjoyed!
