This 40 foot waterfall is at McGalliard Falls Park in Valdese, NC. There is an old mill with a waterwheel next to the waterfall. There are some steep sections to get down to the waterfall, but the walk from the parking lot is short. McGalliard Falls Park isn't too far from the Vrbo where I was staying.
