Jaguar E Type Series II Rebuild - 2023-01-08 - Main and Rear Electrical Harnesses

While I am waiting on some parts for the front subframes I started the wiring harness installations. There are multiple harnesses to install, and it can be overwhelming (for me) given the routing, connections and fear of making a mistake. I have no short cuts or words of wisdom. I take lots of photos during the strip down. I keep all the old harnesses and every bit of wiring. I connect everything up one connection at a time. If in doubt I wait and try to think it through, study the wiring diagrams and seek out available information. All the harnesses are readily available from most of the spare part companies I deal with. It is a sad day when you think new wiring harnesses are gorgeous but there we go.
