Rescuing a Sony UMatic Broadcast VCR: Does it work?

This is another video from the closing channel. I made this in early 2024, my video skills have improved somewhat since then but I hope it's of interest to somebody. Andy The sound is rubbish by the way, I've got a lot better at that :P ==Original Description== Back in November 2023 I happened to spy this wee beastie at the side of the road. A lonely U-Matic VO-5800PS no less, just chucked out like normal rubbish :( So I've been warming it up and drying it out since then, in January 2024 I thought it was finally time to sort through machines. This is just a quick video, I wanted to see if it actually worked before spending any more effort it. I've applied a liberal dose of anti-yeet cream to this video (see below), I had paid for a license, but alas it's not as simple as that, so sorry it's been obscured shortly after upload.
