This is the second and final part of our 2026 Norton Sound king crab season. We had a pretty solid season overall, but it definitely didn’t come without its ups and downs. Between equipment problems, changing conditions, and the usual complications that come with commercial fishing in rural Alaska, we had plenty to work through along the way. When something went wrong, we figured it out, kept the gear moving, and got back to fishing. In the end, the hard work paid off and we were able to finish the season strong with a good haul of Norton Sound red king crab. There’s nothing easy about making a living on the water up here, but that’s part of what makes a successful season feel that much better. Thanks for following along with us this season and supporting Chiroskey Outdoors. If you enjoyed the video, drop a like, subscribe, and stick around—there’s plenty more Alaska fishing, hunting, subsistence, and outdoor content coming. #ChiroskeyOutdoors #KingCrab #NortonSound #CommercialFishing #AlaskaFishing #Crabbing #Alaska #RedKingCrab #FishingLife #RuralAlaska
