[Intro ] The sky grows dark. The roots run red. The sea has risen. The dead have tread. The wolf comes walking. The world coils tight. The gates of Asgard Shall burn tonight. [Verse 1] The ravens screamed above the throne. The golden halls grew cold as stone. A wolf approached beneath the skies. The sea rose up before our eyes. The World Serpent broke the waves. The dead marched forth from Hel's dark gates. Three cursed children, cast away— Had come to bring the end of days. [Pre-Chorus] We knew their names. We knew their fate. We raised our swords. We sealed our gates. [Chorus] THE WOLF HAS COME! THE SEAS ARISE! THE DEAD ARE MARCHING 'NEATH BLACKENED SKIES! THE FATE WE FOUGHT, THE END WE DREAD— THE DAWN OF RAGNARÖK IS HERE AT LAST! LET HEAVEN TREMBLE! LET IRON RING! LET EVERY GOD DEFEND THE KING! THE WORLD WE BUILT SHALL TURN TO FLAME— RAGNARÖK HAS COME TO CLAIM ITS NAME! [Verse 2 — Týr] I know that howl. I know that cry. I've heard it haunt my dreams at night. I gave the wolf my hand in trust. We bound him there and broke that trust. I lost my hand. He lost his home. We left him chained and all alone. I called him beast. I called him threat. But I still feel his teeth, even yet. [Chorus] THE WOLF HAS COME! THE SEAS ARISE! THE DEAD ARE MARCHING 'NEATH BLACKENED SKIES! WE NAMED THEM CURSE! WE NAMED THEM DOOM! NOW ALL OUR FEARS HAVE COME TO BLOOM! THE CHAINS ARE BROKEN! THE GATES SHAKE! THE WORLD WE BUILT BEGINS TO BREAK! WE SEE THE END WE SWORE TO FIGHT— BUT WHO CREATED THIS NIGHT? [Verse 3] But Fenrir does not strike the throne. He searches for a home unknown. The Serpent rises from the sea, Yet shields the land instead of me. And Hel, the child we cast away, Leads lost souls toward a softer day. No blades are raised. No war cries sound. Three siblings stand on common ground. [Spoken Bridge — Týr] I gave him my hand so he would believe. I swore him my trust… then watched him bleed. I called him a danger. I called him a beast. But what kind of god makes a child his enemy? Look upon them, brothers. Look into their eyes. There is no hunger for a throne. No joy in our demise. They have not come to claim our kingdom. They have not come to watch us die. They have come for their father. And we are the ones who taught them why. [Verse 4] The wolf was once a trusting child. The Serpent once knew warmth and light. The girl we sent where sunlight ends Just longed to see her kin again. We called their pain a prophecy. We made our fear their destiny. We feared the monsters we might face— Then made the monsters in their place. We could have reached. We could have stayed. We chose the chains. We chose the hate. [Final Chorus] WE MADE THE WOLF! WE RAISED THE TIDE! WE CAST OUR OWN TO THE DARK OUTSIDE! WE CALLED THEM MONSTERS, SEALED THEIR FATE— AND TAUGHT THEM LOVE WHILE WE LEARNED HATE! LET GOLDEN THRONES AND KINGDOMS FALL! NO GOD IS WORTHIER THAN THEM ALL! IF THIS IS DOOM, THEN LET IT COME— LET A NEW WORLD RISE WHERE THE OLD WENT WRONG! NO MORE CHAINS! NO MORE DENIAL! NO MORE CHILDREN SACRIFICED TO OUR SURVIVAL! IF RAGNARÖK SHALL END OUR REIGN— LET LOVE ARISE FROM ASH AND PAIN! [Outro] [Týr ] I feared the end of the world… But never once feared what we had become. [gods] The wolf walks on. The waters part. The dead bear lanterns in the dark. Three children walk through Asgard's gate. Not seeking vengeance. Not seeking fate. They seek the father we condemned. Their blood. Their home. Their broken kin. [Týr — Whispered] Go to him. [Outro — Fading Choir] The dawn has come… And we are not the gods we were before. [Sound of breaking chains]
