Honey Bee Swarm Control, Get them to land where you can reach them by using QMP aka Temp Queen.

So this year I've had a couple of swarms bivouac in trees way waaaay up where I needed to use my tallest ladder and an extension on my Bee-Vac. I've done some recent testing, using QMP, a synthetic pheromone commonly used to make colonies think they are queen-rite. BUT, it also is proving to work as a swarm lure - and by that I mean for temporary collection on branches, not inside a swarm trap where you want to ultimately house them. If the tree is one that they commonly collect on, and you have lower branches that can support pounds of bees, then this will likely work for you the way it's been working for me. Zip tie your QMP Temp Queen onto a branch and just leave it there for days or even weeks. The residual scent will draw swarms with their queen and park them right where you "hopefully" want them to be.
