BIYB: Brentwood Remembrance Day 2024

The Brentwood Imperial Youth Band were once again deeply honoured and privileged to lead the parade to and from the war memorial for the annual Remembrance Day service. This year, Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Jennifer Tolhurst, led the wreath laying. There were 90 members on parade with the majority under 15 years of age. It was the first Brentwood Ceremony for 9 musicians. The Band is proud to keep the Polar Bear of the 49th West Riding Division alive and recently attended the 80th Anniversary events in Roosendaal, The Netherlands which they liberated on 30th October 1944.
