Who's Using This Wildlife Crossing? We Checked the Cameras

Join the fStop Foundation team as we visit one of Florida’s wildlife crossings to retrieve footage from our remote cameras. Every camera check reveals a new story — from familiar visitors like deer and raccoons to surprising appearances from bobcats, coyotes, otters, and more using these safe passages beneath busy roads. Wildlife crossings reconnect fragmented habitats, allowing animals to move safely in search of food, water, mates, and new territory while reducing wildlife‑vehicle collisions. Each crossing tells a story, and every camera helps us understand how wildlife uses these critical connections throughout the Florida Wildlife Corridor. If you enjoy wildlife, conservation, and behind‑the‑scenes fieldwork, subscribe for more stories from Florida’s wild places. What animal surprised you the most? Tell us in the comments.
