GBHSS Tura Claims SPANDAN League Title With Dominant 3–0 Victory Against Rongram Secondary School

Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School (GBHSS), Tura, secured the district-level SPANDAN League (Under-18) Football Tournament title with a dominant 3–0 victory over Rongram United Secondary School at the Don Bosco field. Organised by the 144 Battalion BSF under the Sports Authority of India and Khelo India initiative to mark the BSF’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the event aimed to promote youth empowerment and discipline across West Garo Hills. GBHSS claimed the championship trophy along with a ₹6,000 cash prize, while Marc R. Marak of GBHSS was named Best Player, Raksrang Jerik A. Sangma won Best Goalkeeper, and Jehosbhat A.
