St. Godehard Hildesheim

@The monastery church (now a parish church) began to be built immediately after the beatification of Bishop Gotthard of Hildesheim in 1133. this Romanesque basilica is a real landmark that has not changed architecturally. Incredible acoustic spatial effect. It was the only church in the city that was only slightly damaged during the bombing, and its historical surroundings are largely preserved.
